Steakhouse Cheddar Ale from the
Wellington Pub
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 celery
- 1 cup scallions
- 3/4 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 2 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 cups lager or ale
- 2 quarts chicken stock
- 1 quart heavy cream
- 1 lb sliced steak (cooked)
- 2 cups Yancey's Fancy shredded steakhouse onion cheese
Directions
- Thicken with a roux (Butter/flour)
- Garnish with puff pastry pieces
