Starting Pay: $14.00/hour, increases to $16.50/hour after 90 days. Continued pay progression as new skill levels are achieved.

Availability

1st shift, 5:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday plus Saturdays as required. Overtime is Mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate systems (computer) and equipment as trained and specified within the job duties.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping of all the performed tests and recording charts are properly documented according to company and regulatory regulations.
  • Adhere to all current SOPs, procedures, and quality requirements to ensure the best possible product
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships and communications with employees from other departments.
  • Obtain and maintain training, certifications, and licenses that are required within the job.
  • Be willing to perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required, or directed by your supervisor or other plant management as needed.
  • Making, packing and inventorying all products produced.
  • Willing to attend off site courses to help further your knowledge base that is covered by the company

Job Requirements:

  • Must have HS Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred, food manufacturing is a plus
  • Must have basic math, reading comprehension and computer skills
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
  • Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise
  • Maintain professional and positive attitude and work ethic
  • Must follow all Yancey's Fancy GMPs and work consistent with all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
  • Maintain good attendance is a must

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, grab, hold and carry
  • Lift up to 60lbs multiple times a day
  • Standing, walking, and bending over for 8+ hours a day
  • Must be able to handle varying temperatures per production rooms
