Mould Washer

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning of all cheese hoops in a thorough and safe manner
  • Assembling of 40 lb cheese block hoops
  • Cleaning of cheese curing boards
  • Cleaning of hoop washing area daily (machine and floor)
  • Handling of cleaning chemicals
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred, food manufacturing is a plus
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
  • Must have HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to perform basic math skills and reading comprehension
  • Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise
  • Maintain professional and positive attitude and work ethic
  • Must follow all Yancey's Fancy GMPs and work consistent with all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, grab, hold and carry
  • Lift up to 40lbs
  • Standing, walking, and climbing for 8+ hours a day
  • Must be able to handle varying temperatures per department
  • Must be able to handle hot and humid environment
