Baked Yancey's Fancy® XXX-Sharp™ Mac & Cheese

  1. Boil one lb. of pasta according to package directions and drain

  2. Mix approx. 8 oz. (1 cup) of milk, 1/2 stick of melted butter/margarine, teaspoon of onion powder, teaspoon of garlic powder, pinch of salt and black pepper together

  3. Place thin layer of pasta in a large casserole dish

  4. Slice a thick layer of Yancey's Fancy® XXX-Sharp Cheddar™ over top of pasta

  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have used all the pasta, ending with cheese on top

  6. In the corner of the casserole dish, pour milk mixture until it covers pasta

  7. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 - 2 hours

  8. Remove from oven and top with (optional: sliced tomatoes) and another layer of medium-sliced Yancey's Fancy® XXX-Sharp Cheddar™ and a thin layer of bread crumbs

  9. Place under broiler until cheese melts and bread crumbs turn golden brown. Careful not to place too close to the broiler or bread crumbs will burn
