Yancey's Fancy Lands Four in Top Five in Pasteurized Process Cheeses Competition including Gold at the 2010 World Championship Cheese Contest

Yancey's Fancy has earned the Gold - Best of Class - for the Jalapeno and Peppadew Cheddar, two 4th-Place awards for its Smoked Gouda and Bacon Cheddar and its Roasted Garlic Cheddar and a 5th-Place award for the Horseradish Cheddar.

Judging for the 2010 World Championship Cheese Contest ended on March 18th in Madison, WI after a 3-day tasting contest in 80 cheese and butter categories. There were 2,313 cheeses and butters from 20 nations with every continent represented taking part in the largest cheese contest in the world. The contest has been held every other year since 1958.
